steel being ground into a knife on a belt sander

It Starts With a Spark

At Little Sparks Forge, every knife begins as a simple piece of steel. Through the stock removal process, Ty carefully shapes, grinds, and finishes each blade by hand. His six-year-old son, Logan, provides the imagination—picking colors, naming designs, and adding the “little sparks” that make every piece unique.

Why "Little Sparks Forge"?

The name carries two meanings. The first is literal—the sparks that fly when steel meets stone, fire, or grinder. The second is personal—the sparks of creativity from Logan that inspire every design. Together, those sparks fuel our craft and our story.

Every step of the process is hands-on. From shaping and sanding to finishing and sharpening, each knife is built to be strong, functional, and full of character.

When you hold one of our knives, you're holding more than steel. You're holding a story of family, tradition, and imagination.
